Rosette

  1. If the figure was removed from its place obscuring the pattern, this would have perfect rosette symmetry. If one were to count the square grid inside the circle of stars, it would have dihedral symmetry – it would have 90 degree rotation and reflection across 4 lines, because the grid makes it much more difficult. If one were to exclude the grid in the background, it would still have dihedral symmetry – it would have 10 reflection lines and 36 degree rotational symmetry.
