This is an example of a fractal in nature because the fern keeps being repeated. You take the larger fern then zoom in to one of the leaves to see a smaller version. Then those attached leaves also have the same pattern. Since it is in nature it is not going to repeat forever, because there is a limit. However, it shows the same pattern by definition.
